"The Most Dangerous Band in the World" Fed Ex Commercial

They say the Super Bowl holds the best advertising.  Millions of dollars for seconds of time in hopes they you'll pony up and by their product.  Fed Ex truly has one competitor UPS.

That's it, the US Post Office tries, really they do but the two majors own the market so advertising really isn't as vital as improving speed in the neck and neck race for your shipping dollar.  With airports full of designated planes and routing that never really makes sense ( I once tracked a package that went from California to Texas to New York to Boston and ended up in Hartford the next day…what the hell? How did that work?) but has about a 95% accuracy rate with delivery times.  I'm not going to say its perfect but the sheer volume they handle daily?  Its brilliant.

So check out this brilliant commercial that ad team over at Fed Ex came up with.  A death core band who enjoy golf and an angry manager who thinks that gentlemen's game will ruin their image.

This is an entertaining scenario in which the soft spoken band in full death makeup not only say "but we love golf' but run to fetch water for flowers for the broken vase.

A nice play on stereotypes.  "As far as the fans know, you are only capable of hate." a great line spoken by the frustrated tour manager states the common thought that metal bands are all blood and fury.  I think what most impresses me is the calm and soft spoken band members.  Its so well done.
