A Simon And Garfunkel Reunion Will Probably Never Happen

I t’s a sad day for nostalgia but again I am not necessary a fan of the past, since I think we should let it go and shouldn’t rehash it all the time.

In an interview he did with BBC Radio 4, Paul Simon said that he will never record with Art Garfunkel again, and that a reunion between the two is very unlikely, a ‘moot point’ as he put it. No, it has nothing to do with the two being in bad terms again, it is just that Garfunkel has the same trouble with his vocal chords that made them postpone last year's 13-date tour.

Sadly – or not depending how you feel about these kinds of things – Simon said that he would ‘not go back and visit the past’.

Can you believe it? Last time they worked together was for their 1970's 'Bridge Over Troubled Water'!! More than 40 years ago, but I had no idea they had some project to actually record something together again.

Simon should just concentrate on ‘Graceland’ ‘s 25th anniversary and all the stuff happening around it, like this ‘Under African Skies’ documentary,… I know it's also the past but a more recent one.
