The Black Keys have a new song ‘Lonely Boy’ and a new video for this first single from their upcoming album ‘El Camino’ which will be out December 6 on Nonesuch worldwide.
The song is great, addictive and there is a lot to bet it will be featured in many TV shows and other episodes of famous HBO series. Oh yeah, it is your usual Black Keys' catchy tune, no surprise there, it is bluesy-swinging all right.
The fun part is obviously the video, a low-budget-DIY-kind-of-thing, as we watch a black guy dancing for 3 minutes and lip-synching the lyrics and nothing else.
But a comment on YouTube made me laugh, a guy saying it took him a second to realize he was watching 'a black man dancing like a white guy for 3 minutes',… It is exactly true, I wish I had thought about it before
