I was able to catch Larry and His Flask on Warped tour. They're a great band to watch. Lets face it any band with a stand up bass is fun to watch. Their music is pub worthy and they really do have a contagious upbeat persona. They have recently been touring with Lionize another enthusiastic young band- a great tour that Larry and His Flask have had to bail on due to family illnesses.
The official statement
"We regretfully need to inform everyone that we cannot go any further into our fall tour with Lionize. A very close family member has taken ill back home in Oregon. We carried on as long as we could out here, knowing how much our family needs us back home, and decided today to head back west. We want to thank each and every person who made it out to a show already, and each and everyone of you who was planing on coming to one. You are the best fans we could ever ask for, and we will make it up to you all. At this time, the very end of the tour (Kelowna, Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland) are still on as planned. Our tour mates Lionize, are a great band, great friends, and we were privileged to share the stage with them each night the last few weeks. We will have some more exciting and positive news for you all shortly, and we will bring the party back real soon. As always, FUCK CANCER."
Sad news. We wish them all strength during this difficult time and hope to see them on the road again, when the time is right.
