I will admit readliy that the Ting Tings are a guilty pleasure. Lead singer, Katie White reminds me of Debbie Harrys horrible 'Rapture' stylel rap/sing. Its endearing really. Her voice is grating, and great. Odd, I know but there is something of an anthem qulaity to their songs.
Its been awhile since 'Shut Up and Let Me Go" and you may think theyre already done.. They arent.
Just released is a new video called "Hang It Up" which looks more 80's than it should, right down to the sk8rs. I gotta tell ya though, its a great song. Its like brain candy. Absolutely no value whatsover other than just being fun and mindless. Still a two person operation and a great one to boot. Check it out:
