The Beastie Boys Action Figures Used Latest Video

I got to see the new Beastie Boys’ video for their latest single 'Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win' from ‘Hot Sauce Committee Part Two’, at Space 15 Twenty in Los Angeles, which had a yard sale hosted by New York designer Chrissie Miller; I suppose that the connection was simply New York City, and a way of bringing a taste of the big apple to LA.

The video, directed by Spike Jonze, is a lot of fun, as it is made using only Beastie Boys action figures, G.I. Joe type, going into a spectacular adventure with a lot of rebounds, some anti-Beastie Boys villains, car chases, guns and zombies, even a Yeti, and Santigold as a special guest.

The action figures really look like the famous rappers and they are now for sale on the band’s official website, for the modest sum of $750,… but be reassured the proceeds will be split between two charities dedicated to fight childhood cancer, Pablove Foundation and Alex Lemonade Stand. The 11.5” tall action figures come with a lot of accessories and, while supplies last, they will also come with a two-disc deluxe version of the Beastie Boys Anthology: The Sounds of Science, featuring an 88-page full-color book with photos and lyrics.

So if you feel like a kid again go get them, but before watch them in action here:
