2 – Heartbeat (Club Version) – Taana Gardner – rock’s backpages Mark Pringle recommended the Paradise Garage DJ Larry Levan remix compilation, where I found this, Taana had one of those greatly nondescript disco vocals – A
3 – It’s A Wonderful Lie – Paul Westerberg – Nobody does depression this well, no way out singer songwriter downer – A
4 – Post To Be – Omarion, Chris Brown – Completely addictive pop dance track – A
5 – Behind The Ritual – Van Morrison – His last great song though not as bad as that sounds exactly because it is also of his last album of new originals, way back in 2008. A meditation, on repetition in music – A
6 – Memory Motel – The Rolling Stones – One of their greatest songs, this is the perfect end of tour track – A
7 – Bitch, I’m Madonna – Madonna and Nicki Minaj – Ho hum popper – C+
8 – She’s So Cold – The Rolling Stones – One Of Their most hated songs, but the riff really stands up well – B-
9 – At The Hop – Sha Na Na – Really only ten years after the fact, when you think of it, this is an excellent version – A
10 – Strings Of Life – Derrick May – Obstreperous keyboard masterwork from way back – A
