The-Wonder-Years

– I Don’t Like Who I Was Then – The Wonder Years – I’ve had problems with all three new songs but for some reason I’d had the volume kinda low and if you blast it, there is a moment of revelation when it becomes a great anthem of mesed up emotional smash grab – A-

– King Of Pain – The Police – Again, it takes forever to get to the hardsell chorus, but it is definitely worth the wait, and the trip ain’t as dreary as usual – B+

– Ah Yeah So What – Will Sparks – This is excellent house off the new EDM soundtrack featuring a super rap hook by  Wiley – A

– My Heart’s Not In It – Yo La Tengo – The first song on the newbie, and an immaculate beauty of a track – A

– My Heart’s Not In In It – Darlene McCrea – The original girl group take – A

– Little Latin Lupe Lu – The Righteous Brothers – Terrific voices and strong arming horns – A

– Voodoo Child (Slight Return) (Live) – Jimi Hendrix – Not bad at all -love the twinglet intro – B+

– Lust – Willis Earl Beal – Not only is the whistling into great (I know) so is the song itself – A-

– Catching The Stars – Liam Corcoran – Another great song off this terrific revelation newbie, consider it singer songwriter meets power pop and folkiness ala indie pop Bright Eyes etc – A-

– Precious Time _ Van Morrison – Off the great Back On Top, this is the one they chose to pull and it is a great swing song about the ephemeral nature of time and how god won’t change it – A
