– Brand New Car – Action Bronson – Somebody is ivesting serious bucks on this guy. Warners in the rest of the world, Atlantic in the US and the result is a pricey Billy Joel sample… luckily, Bronson makes excellent use of it, rapping right through the hook. Mark Ronson produced – B+

– Zanzibar – Billy Joel – This is the song Bronson sampled – C
– Get On With The Show – Van Morrison, Georgie Fame – “Too many problems, not enough bliss”? Amen… “Fiddle fiddle while Rome burns…”? Amen twice – A

– Lucky Number – Lene Lovitch – From the years when everyone sounded like they’d just escaped from East Berlin – A
– Fairly Local – Twenty One Pilots – Sounds a lot like modern Blur – A-
– That Means A Lot – The Weeklings – Making a case for this to be a great Beatles track even from day one – A
– Gonna Get It Wrong – Allisson Moorer – Tucked away at the tail of the album, a slice of beat down optimism – A-
– I’ll Be There – Chich – An old lick on lost tapes is reconfigured – A-
