Sounds like fun right? I mean, Rough Trade? How much more small and intimate can you get with the miseducated one?? “Small Axe” is the old Bob Marley song and marley’s son Rohan is father of five of Lauryn’s kids, so it all fits nicely. Plus, for all of Hill’s bizarreness, last years “Black Rage” song was OK though not much more.
But I am not going and I am not going for three reasons:
1. I am sick of her croaking through her rearrangements of her songs. God forbid the egocentric woman would just sing em straight, and no, she isn’t good enough to do it. She is good enough to try and rebuild her career that’s what she is good enough to do.
2. I have no, none whatsoever, intention of arriving at 630pm for a doors at 7pm standing room only gig to wait till 1130pm for the repulsively undisciplined woman to show up on stage. It was pathetic when the Stones did it for their teenage fans in their 70s, Keith Richards claim in Life, that the fans didn’t mind, was wrong, they minded, and it is worse from a middle aged woman playing to middle aged fans. Madonna does the same crap, so does Gaga, so doe Bieber. Completely ridiculous.

That’s right, the cheapest ticket is $125. What world do you pay $125 to hear this hoarse nitwit perform whenever she can be bothered. Lauryn Hill is delusional and this won’t help in the slightest. Forget it refugee…
