Comment: really? No kidding here. an annoucement via Forbes: “The upcoming CD is due, but is still untitled (though “temporarily titled” Aretha Franklin Sings Songs of the Great Divas). Music mogul and longtime recording partner Clive Davis is at the helm of the project, and he recently finally admitted that it was, in fact, happening, and that it was expected in stores on the 30th. Legendary producer and performer Babyface is working with OutKast member Andre 3000 behind the scenes on production and mixing the final tracks before the album ships out.” So that is absolutely the biggests tory of the week and then some. Some other goodies: Lucinda Williams, Tove Lo, Prince, The vaselines, Jerimih, Lady Antebellum, and the Gerard way every song of which has been the best thing I’ve heard from him in many a long year.
