1. Nara – alt-j – Aha, here is the Atl-J I can’t take, I knew there were out there somewhere: a dreary Radiohead-y track saved by a cranky piano though hardly saved enough – C+

2. Running With The Boys – Lights – She wears a tee-shirt with the legend “I want to die in love” and despite the edgy tattoos all down her right arm, you’ll believe her – B

3. New York City – Lenny Kravitz – Worse song ever, ever, ever about nyc – D

4. Banana Clipper – Run The Jewels, Big Boi – What a coincidence, I got sick of both band band Outkast at the same festival – C

5. alsatsana (102) – Aphex Twin – Single piano notes plonked – B

6. Kiss Me Again – The Drums – Awash in the swish of life – B+

7. Nobody Dies Anymore – Tweedy – The backstory is so strong I forgive him for the weariness of the songs – B

8. Bounce – Riitz, Twista – Twista is really excellent on this, as fast as ever but in comparison to Riitz he sounds deeper as well – B+

9. I Keep Running – Ryan Adams – The intro has a definite Gram Parsons feel to it – B+

10. Don’t Wait – Mapei – Kitchen sink electronic pop soul track – A-
