Far be it for me to mock the afflicted, but this line up is painful just to read , let alone see. My Morning Jacket peaked in 2008 and Dawes, War On Drugs, and, oh god no, Dr. Dog, might peak one of these days, we don’t really know. The only name that excites me here is Biz Markie, and really I think I’ve heard “Just A Friend” live once or twice before.
This is five days in New Mexico in late January so I can see the good part but isn’t it all a little you can check in any time you like … Incidentally, I am listening to the Felice Brothers new album just in case you think doing this rock nyc stuff is all fun and gains. I’d dismissed it on Tuesday and yet here I am again listening to this crap and wondering why I was born and what the purpose of life might be.

After bringing the heat last year in the stellar concert courtyard within the resort, One Big Holiday will once again feature three full shows under the stars by My Morning Jacket. Once again returning to join the band on this adventure will be Preservation Hall Jazz Band, as well as newcomers War On Drugs, Dr. Dog, Dawes and Sylvan Esso who will each perform one show, plus special guest DJ Biz Markie. Fans are also in for a special treat as Band of Horses will perform two full shows, including one acoustic performance as the sun goes down.
Pre-Sale for returning guests who attended One Big Holiday begins June 26 at 12pm ET.
Roll Call Members can also qualify for the pre-sale by filling out an opt-in form by June 23rd at 5pm ET; unique tokens with booking times will be assigned in the order in which opt-in forms are received.
