Hashtag who the fuck cares, Hashtag Iced Tea, Hashed Tag Body Odor.. the intro to this video is fantastic…until Iced Tea’s face shows up. Damn that man is old and ugly as sin and what starts as a pretty funny comedy sketch goes campy wrong so fast- it’s sad.
But hey Iced Tea is a rich man in LA now with zero street cred and even less charisma. So whats a gal to do? Don’t watch and only listen. By doing so I have found that “Talk Shit Get Shot” is a great tune filled with perfect expletives and a nice metal beat. Iced Tea’s vocals have remained clean unlike his appearance so the audio is a perfect mix of white boy hard core and black boy bitchin’.
I suppose ‘campy’ is ok but I cant understand why the band would have chosen that route. They could have started with the bodega banter then gone tough but instead its borderline Weird Al and screams early ’90s. What a shame
Again this tune is excellent just dont look a the video or you’ll cringe The band had not released any new material since 2006′s Murder 4 Hire and numerous line-up changes due to attrition and death has to be the funniest bio of a band yet. Their new lp Manslaughter is due out on June 10th and I predict plenty more leaks from this ‘thrash metal’ band and even more public appearances by Tea which is sure to make you gag. Here is a prime example of a man who should really just stick to the stage and not speak or be seen..no seriously.
