‘Trembling Hands', New Track From Explosions In The Sky

Instrumental post-rock band Explosions in the Sky has posted the third track from their upcoming album ‘Take Care, Take Care, Take Care’ (yes, three times), set to be released on April 26th in the US.

‘Trembling Hands’, the shortest song of the album, sounds very repetitive at first but it progressively builds up an atmospheric soundscape of epic proportions. With loud echoing Interpol-esque guitars, loops of super heavy drumbeats and buried pulsing voices yelling oh-oh during the first minute, it works like a loud vortex that absorbs all your attention and strength for 3 and half minutes, rushing till the end, while exploding several times into higher levels of energy, hiding a real poppiness.
As powerful as a hailstorm hitting you in the face, as unexpected as a change in weather, you just have to listen to it. You can even download the song in exchange of your email address here:

Next month, Explosions in the Sky will play at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, and with tracks like this one, they have all the chances to wake up the dead.
