– For The Love Of Money – Dr. Dre – This is the one, a topnotch r&b-soul track with a great rap from Black-Korean Anderson. Paak, who should see his public image go through the roof after his work on Compton, and Jill Scott who does a terrific job on the hook – B+
– Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart – Chris Cornell -I’ll admit to not being a fan, I will also admit Chris is the poster boy for modern mainstream rock. This is a poster boy rocker as well, a plodding rocker deep feeler – C
– Top Of The World – Tim McGraw – Sure, I can’t stand this guy but that still doesn’t explain why the drums are so damn processed. Also, McGraw is 48 years of age, if he is singing about his “girl” he should be arrested, especially on this terrible arrested development country pap – D
– High By The Beach – Lana Del Rey – On ‘ludes no doubt – C-
– I Think We’d Be Good Together – Rob Thomas – Nice rhythm, jumpy half beats. The rest of the song is awful – C
– Rag Doll – Art Garfunkel – Artful soprano seems touched by sadness on this goodie – B+
– Evil Like Me – Kristin Chenoweth And Dove Cameron – Wait a second, wasn’t Kristin the original good witch in “Wicked” – B-
– Good Is The New Bad – Dove Cameron – Oh, apparently Dove turns her back on evil at the end on this generic bummer dance track – C-
– Back To Back – Drake – With the mixtape hitting a million units moved, this is a pretty good left turn freestyle – B+
– U Mad – Vic Mensa – Featuring Kweezy, and Vic better release some more songs and fast (although it hasn’t really hurt Chance not dropping a debut album) – A-
