2. Our Love – Half Japanese – From one of the great love albums of the year, these straight faced songs of romantic love reaches its zenith her: “pretty good, pretty great, two thumbs up, first rate” – A
3. Born In The USA – Jason Isbell, Amanda Shires – Gets the darkness it deserved but Jason killed the melody – C
4. Barstools And Haircuts – Grey Gordon – Fuzzed out guitars carry the tune, which is a real good one – A
5. Dripping – Blonde Redhead – this sound likes the blues, a moody downer – B
6. I Am King – Code Orange – Obstreperous rocker – B
7. Leaving California – Maroon 5 – A good song but the magic has gone – B
8. Beautiful – Jeezy, Game, Rick Ross – Big names, losing proposition – C+
9. Tired Of Giving Up – Ryan Adams – A very typical Adams does classic rock track and it works for me – B+
10. Surprize – The Killjoy Club – Aptly named band filled with Insane Clown Posses rapping to hardcore beats – B
