1 – Listening To Singing – Iris Dement – While I have heard mixed things about this album, dropping on Friday, this first song is absolutely lovely, with a wonderful hook, and a lovely lyric based upon the same named poem by Anna Akhmatova, comparing a woman’s voice to a ladder to heaven. Pretty excellent, actually – A
2 – Pallbearer – Josh Turner – Iris Dement jins Josh onthis morbid loser, though her harmonies are lovely – C+
3 – Drag Me Down – One Direction – I am somewhat on the baffled side by the huge success of this songs, I couldn’t sworn it was a disaster in the making, it isn’t nearly sweet enough but hey, what do I know – C-
4 – Good For You – Selena Gomez – It isn’t me, I swear this a lame piece of manufactured sex-pop – C-
5 – Hotline Bling – Drake – I hope this isn’t off the new one, and just an over remix -a really indifferent hip hop r&b track – C+
6 – How Deep Is Your Love – Calvin Harris, Disciples – Another disappointment from the world of EDM – an OK disco song – B-
7 – Photograph – Ed Sheeran – Minor leaguer and still hits the chart, you think it will still be around in 2016?
8 – You Know You Like It – Alunageorge – The DJ Snake remix,, which means iit will slink but towards a beat pov – B+
9 – Grinder – Gary Clark Jr – Nice guitar tone tone – B-
10 – Drama – Roy Woods – With Drake and not bad, a strange sort of sad beat heavy track – B
