1. Staying Alive – Cursive – On a big album, this is a huge glorious melodic ruckus and it is so big that it changed Cursive’s life and made them stars, it is like chamber music in the middle of the Battle Of Britain and at ten minutes I wish it was longer – A

2. They Don’t Know – Kirsty MacColl – with Crenshaw just playing a gig I reported on with Neil MacColl, Kirsty’s half brother, she has been on my mind – A+

3. Ring Off – Beyonce – As playful as as 7/11 but even sweeter though not lyrically – A

4. Long And wasted – Bob Dylan – An obscurity off Titanic, you know I may have underestimated taht albm – B+

5. S.T.O.P. – David Guetta, Ryan Tepper – when will Ryan shut up about stars? Him and Chris Martin -give it up – C

6. Fragile – Faith Evans – A goodie off the newbie, sounds like Motown in the intro and the horns are sweet and punchy – B+

7. Chocolate – The 1975 – Addictive pop rocker with an electronic buz to it – A-

8. Something In The way She Moves – James Taylor – I am going to orlando for the day on Friday and will miss the gig… bummer – A

9. Therapy – Mary J. Blige – Awesome modern r&b but not new r&b, off what looks like it may be a big time new album – A-

10. Heavy Crown – Iggy Azalea – OK, let’s keep it real y’all, there is a reason T.I. loved Iggy, she is an excellent rapper, the hook here is fine as well – A-
