2 – Where I’m From – Shelby Lynne – This song is a knock out, the sort of song people who hang a career on, which she did of course, unique and lovely- A
3 – Whenever God Shines His Light On Me – Van Morrison And Cliff Richard – My Sunday song, adore him – A
4 – Oboe Concerto – Morrissey – If Moz wants to do something to help the world, reform the Smiths. In the meantime, this is an excellent slice of moody belligerence and it is stuck in my head – A
5 – Long Time – Paul Weller – Over in the UK, they consider this a change of pace for Weller because, well, I don’t know why: this is proto US pink – B
6 – Nobody Really Cares If You Go To The Party – Courtney Barnett – Maybe her best song, just a straight ahead relationship number with a catchy chorus – A-
7 – Steel And Glass – John Lennon – Pretty good put down song, for Allen Klein rumor has it though Lennon said it is about a coupla people – A-
