1 – Good Enough – Bonnie Raitt – From 1975, you know how some folks just don’t do it for you? O’ve never much liked Bonnie Raitt… no real reason, I quite get why other people do. Including Robert Christgau and Carola Dibble who consider this their song according to his memoir…. which I am reaching the end of – B+

2 – Where I’m From – Shelby Lynne – This song is a knock out, the sort of song people who hang a career on, which she did of course, unique and lovely- A

3 – Whenever God Shines His Light On Me – Van Morrison And Cliff Richard – My Sunday song, adore him – A

4 – Oboe Concerto – Morrissey – If Moz wants to do something to help the world, reform the Smiths. In the meantime, this is an excellent slice of moody belligerence and it is stuck in my head – A

5 – Long Time – Paul Weller – Over in the UK, they consider this a change of pace for Weller because, well, I don’t know why: this is proto US pink – B

6 – Nobody Really Cares If You Go To The Party  – Courtney Barnett –  Maybe her best song, just a straight ahead relationship number with a catchy chorus – A-

7 – Steel And Glass – John Lennon – Pretty good put down song, for Allen Klein rumor has it though Lennon said it is about a coupla people – A-

8 – How Can I – Laura Marling – Her Joni Mitchell moment if ever there was one – A

9 – Paradise Garage – Tim Curry – Still waiting for the solo album to show on Spotify because it goes like thaaaaaat – A

10 – Planet Schmanet Janet – Tim Curry – you better believe it, baaaaby – A
