1 – A Beautiful Woman – Deradoorian – The Dirty Projector band members first track of her first album owes something to the former band, an off key strangely instrumentation but essentially pop song – B+
2 – I’m To Blame – Kip Moore – Martial beats, stomper, but the drums are over processed – B
3 Monument – Mutemath – Soul vocal on pop by numbers like they’ve been listening to Maroon 5 – B-
4 – Camo Fever – Clap! Clap! – AFrican flavor is distilled into moog noises – C+
5 – Here – Alesia Clara – The press release dubs her the reluctant wallflower, a good line but this is standard issue soul pop – B-
6 – High By The Sea – Lana Del Rey _ does this woman have the perfect life? Born into money, she was a star with her second attempt singing miserable songs. The hook here is actually better than I claimed last week – C+
7 – Forever Mine – Andra Day – Channelling a good track on the Nina Simone into an upcoming album, this soul woman might be up to something, certainly this gorgeous soul track is the real deal – A-
8 – Smoke Break – Carrie Underwood – Still has a good voice and if this blue collar woman portrait was just a little better it would be good – C
9 – Dibs – Kelsea Ballerini – Can;t take her voice – C
10 – If He’d Ever Look Up – Caroline Kole – Wonderful unrequited love song – A-
