Hurray! U2 are putting the final touches on their new album. “No Line On The Horizon” was their last effort at that was in 2009. Hard to believe these fools have been dormant that long. What scares me is the press junkets they’ll be doing- we’re going to clobber them.
Its not that U2 is a bad band its just that the characters are such knobs. Rolling Stone got the freaks to speak well the quietest of the group Adam Clayton, “We very much want to have a record out by the end of the year, September, October, November; that kind of time,” Clayton said recently. “We’re working with Danger Mouse, who’s a smart guy. He’s on it; he’s excited. It’s a great team and feels very liberating at the moment – anything goes. We have an abundance of riches, we could make three or four different records and justify that to ourselves, but to make the best record you can, you have to steer away from the ones you can make easily. We’re really trying to get into territory that we’re not comfortable in. If that makes sense.”
No actually they don’t make sense, they’re too big for their britches and like Green Day they give the old 80’s scene a bad name- this is what we fought AGAINST my brethren punkers- don’t fall for this stuff. Stick it to the man.
Eww Bono’s back.
