The Wonder Years is a pop punk band from Philadelphia with so much ambition they could blow the roof off of any venue in no time. Getting their start in 2005, they’ve come a long way. Signed by Hopeless Records, they know exactly what they’re doing. With their unique blend of music, they’ve been bringing their fun sound to lucky concert-goers and other fans.
The sextet is currently on tour, I saw them just the other night, and will be heading to the United Kingdom to bless those over there with their songs. They’ve grown and become so successful that it’s a mystery why they’re not one of the biggest bands ever.
Their latest album, The Upsides, that came out this year sold 1852 copies in its first week. If that wasn’t enough, it landed them a spot on four different billboards: #5 on Alternative Artists, #9 on top new artist, #43 on Indie Label Album and #26 on top Internet album.
These boys are a wonder.
