“It’s Nothin” is garbage and so is Wiz Khalifa. This song is one of the most boring and repetitive rap songs I’ve ever heard. It would appear that Wiz Khalifa is stepping away from the Kid Cudi-esque sound that got him famous in the first place and I guess this just wasn’t a step in the right direction.I couldn’t even review the video for this song, released on October 14th, because it was just as boring as the song. What is the point of a music video that is comprised of the artist waving his arms around at the camera while rapping with the occasional shot of a sports car being driven in the desert?
“It’s Nothin” is essentially one giant rap cliché. With these lyrics, how can you set yourself apart from every other rapper ever?

fuck around and I’ll buy one of you broke niggas”
“Stackin’ cheese till my bread right,
smokin’ weed till my head right”
“Order thirty-seven bottles call it poppin’ shit”
Are you fucking serious making a song that is essentially a clichéd combination of every shitty rap song on the air? The music world has had enough of rappers spending three and a half minutes talking about how many cars they own, weed they smoke, money they make, etc.
Besides having no intelligently crafted lyrics, “It’s Nothin” doesn’t even have any sort of catchy hook to it. If your plan is to just say “It’s nothing” into a microphone over and over and over again, why are you even making music. I would talk about 2 Chainz’s contribution to this song if his contribution made any difference. He was just a different voice singing the same kind of lyrics.
The worst part about “It’s Nothin” is that it will make it on to the radio and people will actually pay money for it. Please don’t waste your money on this.
