Harris, a Nielsen Company, asks Americans who are their favorite musicians every four years like it was the Olympics or something. And then they make a chart and they tell you here, but let us make it easy for you: Beatles at one, Presley at two but wooooah what’s this Beyonce at number three!!!! And there is George Strait and Garth Brooks. Garth Brooks??? The last man without an IPAD!!

DROPPED OFF OF LIST IN 2014
U2 (was No. 2), Tim McGraw (was No. 5), Lady Gaga (was No. 6), Rascal Flatts (was No. 8) and Alan Jackson and Frank Sinatra (both ties for No. 9)
Interesting, eh? Of the names that have dropped out, only Frank Sinatra is weird not seeing up there. The Gaga is a serious problem because she had a new album and you woulda thought it’d have upped her public image sufficiently.
Meanwhile listen to this: if you are a Republican, a Democrat or an Independent you’re gonna love the Beatles most. Plus, if you have a kid under 18 you are gonna love Bruno Mars and if you don’t have a kid under 18, you’re gonna love -ta-dah the Beatles. Decades and decades after they disbanded, they are still the biggest band in the world.
