Whitney Houston is in dire straits. Newly recovered from her severe drug dependency, she is virtually penniless living off friends and loans against future work. It’s a sad state of affairs when a star loses it all. A mother of one its reported that without the support of others she would literally be homeless.
'Whitney's fortune is gone,' the source told the site. 'Music industry heavy hitters are supporting her and her label is fronting her cash against her next album, but no one knows when that will be released."
'She might be homeless if not for people saving her,' the insider added. 'She is broke as a joke. She called someone to ask for $100. It is so sad. She should have Mariah Carey money, and she's flat broke.
“Insiders” are lame. State your name if you’re going to slag someone. If you are in fact ‘inside’, you have been sworn to silence of your just a gossip with no cred. Regardless, should this be true it is a very sad thing indeed.
At her age (48) a comeback would be tough, a Vegas bit is a good option if she can get it.
Whitney stars with American Idol winner Jordin Sparks in upcoming film Sparkle which is a remake of the 1976 classic. Lets hope she can cash in on that one.
