MIA and Interpol headlined an art/music conglom I didn’t even hear about till it was too late to score a tix, at the Milk Complex for something called (and I quote from NME): “Creators Project, a multimedia art show organised by Vice magazine to showcase some of the world’s most cutting-edge audio/visual artists across a number of different spaces.”
Apparently, the stage wasn’t elevayed so people at the back couldn’t see a thing at left early (well, as early as you can when the show starts at 1130p)
the milk studio” us a full-service photography studio located in New York City. It occupies over 45000ft² on the eighth floor of the New Media and Arts Center.”
Anything else? Appratently you had to register to get into the show, only 1500 people managed to get in and lotsa lotsa other hipsters missed it.
The other one was Friday’s anniversary of MJ’s death -Alyson covered it for us.
