Therapies Son's song 'Touching Down' Reviewed

‘Touching down’ by Therapies Son is a quiet pop song slowly waking up with a pulsating synth rhythm turning in circles, bright Harrison-esque guitars and fragile hushed vocals, capable to put you in a sort of ecstasy state before suddenly transforming itself.

Therapies Son is the project of Californian Alex Jacob, who opened for Yuck and Smith Westerns when I saw them at the Echo last February; he is only 19 and has just released his debut EP ’Over The Sea’ on Record Store Day, through Transparent, a UK label.
And this is remarkable considering the fact he just started writing songs last November. Is he the new Panda Bear?
