Well, Sunset Junction is off. However, Art Brut want to go and rock the fuck out on the West Coast but LA is all the way over there and we’re all the way over here. Air fares are extreme and the AB stock of saleable golden shoes has run dry. Disaster? I think not… AB Central are coming to the rescue. Here’s the proposition…
You want to come see us pull together a gig 5000 miles away in about ten minutes? A brand new power AB show has been booked at The Satellite. Full details to follow. We may need a little more than just your dignity though. To make this work we’re asking for a few of your precious foreign currency to pay for our now non-refundable air fare. We’ve arranged special edition merch, paintings, shirts and rowdy behaviour especially for your Los Angeles attention. Looks like this might turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Come and drink that bad taste out of your mouth.

If I were in LA I would be there in a heartbeat. We dont think of the aftermath of something like this but there are a bunch of people who are basically stranded due to some odd circumstance. Arent these shows insured?
Regardless throw these kids some cash- go see them and buy their swag.
