What the hell is this platter of vomit? Released in 2010 and luckily on the low down. A pre fame Elton John performs such dittys as "Young Gifted and Black" and "Good Morning Freedom". This is where we find streaming music to be a horror. Without it I would never have stumbled upon this and I wouldnt be as aggitated.
I do understand the significance of releasing tracks by legends from their younger days but generally I dont want to hear them unless theyre good. This takes EJ down about 10 pegs and the poor guy wasnt even shaving when these monstrosities were recorded. Could it be black mail?
I wonder if it was a contractual obligation issue. If so, John should have bought it out just to spare his catalog this entry.
The only song on the entire lp that wasnt justs awful was "Sprit In The Sky" and I am pretty sure it sucks too but I just really like the song in general.
