Alrighty then,… I wouldn't call The Dear Hunter progressive rock but they are They're much "artsy hipster" They're not pushing any boundaries that I can tell but rather ripping off a few riffs here and there. Sounds rather mean doesn't it? Am I perhaps being unfair to this fuzzy Rhode Island band of merry makers?

Why? Cuz this is the side project of Casey Crescenzo, from The Receiving End of Sirens. I know we all need an outlet for our 'softer side' but this is really the yang so to speak. "Smoke and Mirrors" vs "What It Means To Be Alone" in a cage match? Heads will roll!
