As we reported here on Saturday, the Allman Brother’s performed Friday (and the next day) without Gregg Allman because he was out with bronchitus. Just moments ago the Allman Brother’s made this annoucement:
” New York, NY (March 24, 2014) – The Allman Brothers Band announced the postponement of the remaining four Beacon Theatre performances on March 25…, March 26, March 28 and March 29 as Gregg Allman recovers from bronchitis. As a result of Mr. Allman’s illness, the Allman Brothers Band is unable to perform at the level to which they aspire. All ticketholders should retain their tickets, which will be honored for the soon-to-be-announced rescheduled engagements. Those ticket holders desiring refunds may obtain them from the original point of purchase.”
Damn, right?
That means it will be a complete bitch to get one if you don’t have one and I don’t have one because I already saw the band without Gregg. And while I absolutely don’t regret having seen em now I’m obsessing about seeing the band with Gregg for the last last last stand!!
More info as to when the next last stand will be as soon as we hear of it!
