Mrs. Pattinson…

Week 46:

Live: A busy week all round, it started with Jimmy Page, continued with Chrissie Hynde and Stevie wonder and concluded with Boots and FKA twigs and Boots. Nothing life changing, not even Stevie, but some pretty decent music. meanwhile, I passed on the country music festival at Randall’s Island The artist list just couldn’t justify the expense.

Recorded: The Theophilus London, produced by Yeezus himself, is pretty good, and the sudden release of Azealea Bank’s debut album was a pleasant surprised, meanwhile the deluxe reissue is worth your while and finally the Complete Basement Tapes is one of the great albums of any time.

Taylor Swift: Pulled her music off Spotify and continued her world domination. At this moment they are expecting 1989 to have gone double platinum in an astonishing two weeks.

Politics: While my friends assume we will all be in Labor camps my Christmas, I say what’s the point of a two party system if only one party wins.

Sports: The Knicks and the Rangers? Well, the Giants and Jets feel done.

Television: The end of the season for Dr. who -and I can’t stand either the ne who or his new companion or her boyfriend. Man, how much magic can one show lose?
