Week: 13
Recorded: D’Angelo’s live album from ’95 is a flat out masterpiece and a sad reminder opf a promise he just couldn’t keep. Was it two years ago ?Love was telling us the final over a decade late new D’Angelo was 90% finished? And what happened next? A handful of cancels and that is it, D’Angelo disappeared again.
Live: A rarity for me, I didn’t go to a concert this week, though I did go and see “Rocky” on Broadway, so that must count. Oh, and I scalped a ticket to Elbow and hit the wrong button and bought a tix for Vancouver by mistake.
Weather: Was this it? Winter’s final stand? Has Spring sprung? Well, not # 13 which was simply freezing.
Sports: The Knicks were two games out of the final seed for the playoffs last time I looked.
Local: I hope Bill de Blasio starts improving his political skills because Cuomo is beating him into pulp and while I am not that big a fan myself, I support New York City over State.
Work: I spent the last three days of the work week working on getting an approval for a Law Group who wanna class action suit against the exploding ignitions Of General Motors. It was easier to get the Medical Marijuana folks on the air.
