Week Six:
Recorded: The Haden Triplets harmony self named debut album, produced by no less a figure than Ry Cooder wins pride of place while Toni Braxton comes in second. The sisters sound lovely and Babyface still has the chops to write good slow jamz for Toni just like back in the day.
Live: Amnesty didn’t deserve any with their bloated waste of time Barclay Center gig though Don Giovanni may have with Upset being a revelation despite the bands pedigree and Shellshag of their best performances to date.
Weather: Talk about Groundhog Day, another endless round of useless weather. Cold, snow, snow, cold and snow cold.
rock nyc: Crashed and burned in a WordPress generated wall of white death that took me personally days of hard work to sort out. Also took a ton of money off John Pasquale, so thanks John.
Sports: All eyes were strained on Sochi in Russia where homosexuality doesn’t exist.
Television: The Beatles Special appealed to some, but not to the fanatics.
