That Was The Week Of April 14th, 2014, That Was

Over And Out

Over And Out

Week 17

Sports – It is all very well for the Yanks to reel off 5 wins in  row but whither the Knicks? No playoffs and check this out, owned by a Russian and in their second year have made the playoffs. Enough already Dolan, give the Knicks to J Lo along with the Fuse. She can’t do any worse.

Live: The week belongs to the Wonder Years though Fireworks, indeed all four opening acts, deserve a shout out as well. Lucy Wainwright Roche deserves a nod as well. But not Rufus. No, no, no, not Rufus.

Recorded: The Both were a major bummer, but three good albums, James DeRulo, Chet Faker and Duck Sauce made the week for us.

Local Politics – This horn drawn carriage deal? The Mayor wants them gone, everybody else wants to continue the 157 years of tradition. Me? Depends on how much glue we need.

Religion: Easter and that’s good because I feel as though I need to be risen from the dead. And Passover? Story of my life.

Editor: Helen Bach is slacking off in DC leaving me to do all the typos by myself.
