Television Lite: November 18th – November 22nd 2013

go get um grrrl

Not so bad this week.  Again I have opted to give you all guests and not just music as I have historically done.  The guests on these shows are a good snapshot of the  pop culture things and there aint no pop and their aint no culture.

The pick of this week?  M.I.A, on The Colbert Report.  When Steve interviewed Morrissey it was one of the most awkwardly painful interaction Id seen in awhile.  Colbert’s dry humor can be way too dry and when he tries to be coy it often gets lost in the sandstorm.  I do hope Ms M.I.A. snarks his ass off.  She can be such a beast and he is such an easy hit.  I’m rooting for her to make him uncomfortable.  Fingers crossed.
