Miguel came on stage with TVOTR for the last three songs giving the show a much more R&B feel than before, but because the Brooklyn band probably hates to be pigeonholed, they also covered CAN with the help of the pop-soul singer.
During the whole show they seemed to send lasers in the sky with a supersonic intensity, Tunde Adembimpe’s magnetic presence, David Sitek’s guitar drone and a funk-punk restless sound.

On their fifth album, songs as good as “Quartz”, “Careful You”, “Cound You” and the title track “Seeds” should have been enough, I mean, one of them should have, propelled the band up the charts. It would be a real pity if this ecellent soul album is considered a flop and not a return to power.
Seeds – TV On The Radio – the backing track sounds like JAMC only without guitars, it vibrates on this first rate ballad, the entire album is a wonderful thing. Given the time, it could be emerge as one of the very best of the year – A
TVOR are back and aiming for the charts and might very well make it with this excellent pop soul track, as catchy as humanly possible. There most crossover song since “Golden Age”. The horn break is one of the best things you’ll hear this year – A-
