TV Or Bust
TV Or Bust

1. Could You –  Could You – TV On The Radio – TVOR are back and aiming for the charts and might very well make it with this excellent pop soul track, as catchy as humanly possible. There most crossover song since “Golden Age”. The horn break is one of the best things you’ll hear this year – A-

2. Danger (feat Boyz Noize) – RL Grimes – Boyz Noize is one of the top DJs around, so you got two titans going small here – B

3. Stockholm Syndrome – One Direction – Very funny track and a perfect gift for their fans, a prisoner of love. Maybe the best song on their newbie – A-

4. Ladder Song – Lorde – Astounding performance, a true beauty, downbeat, gorgeous, depressing, heralding death – A-

5. Ma Ikit (Not Found) – Emel Mathlouthli – Not as poppy as we are used to, sounds like Tunisian pop ballad goes into the blues – B+

6. Meltdown – Stromae, Lorde, Pusha T, Q Tip, Haim – Are you kidding me??? – A-

7. Little Wonder – David Bowie – Later, not latest, Bowie and well worth sticking on his latest Greatest hits album – A

8. Scary Monsters And Super Creeps – David Bowie – The first time I saw Bowie live was on this tour – A+

9. Got Me Running Around – Nickelback – With Flo Rida, who performs the poppiest rap you’ll ever wanna hear, and Nickelback who have gone two for two on the newbie… go figure – A-

10. All The Way – Fred Hammond Jr – Easily the best modern black Christian singer out there, this is the opening track of what feels like another winner to me, he gives it a great reggae riddem – B+
