The whole show seemed like a repetitive explosion of rainbows, with multicolor lights reverberating in the fog, giving us some kaleidoscopic visions and the tie-dye ambiance of the 70’s, but at the same time there was nothing nostalgic in Tame Impala’s show, it was as modern as it was electronic, and the vocals were so deep in the mix you couldn’t discern them from the rest of the expanding and layered sound
So given the facts, I neither want to provide a link and barely want to mention them at all. I just went in search of a quote of one of their dumbass reviewers, but all three I read were pretty good so here is the upcoming albums. Well, I know for sure what is not the most anticipated new album of net week (late next week to be precise), and that would be the new Jason Isbell, one of the biggest disappointments of 2015. I have a full review in mind, maybe by Sunday, and will not be a happy thing at all. Alan Jackson? He sucked so bad at Carnegie Hall a coupla years ago, I am not too thrilled any more. Pitbull releases album after song after album, Chemical Brothers -wasn’t crazy about the single. I think I’ll go with the psychedelic weirdos who were so good at Governors Ball earlier this year, win first place.
If I lost interest 20 minutes in, the rest of the audience is huge, even against A-Traak and attentive as the acid test, “This can’t be a better end to our fucking tour” before unleashing a weird and glorious stomper.
It reminds me the days I was watching music videos on TV, really, this seems such a long time ago! Whether you like or not these disco balls, these people without a head tripping into glam, it’s true that it fits much more the psychedelic ambiance of the music than with the lyrics,
I feel like music will be free sooner or later, and I think I’m all for it. There’s all this talk of music needing a monetary value, this ownership of music, even that it needs a physical form. But intrinsically… it’s MUSIC, it should be better than that. Some of my most important musical experiences were from a burnt CD with songs my friend downloaded for me at a terrible digital quality

Before the Flaming Lips, Tame Impala played at the Greek Theater on Tuesday night and, if they didn’t use any crazy Halloween outfits and tricks, they impressed the crowd that was already very big this early in the evening.
