Three really good albums here: Colbie, Shinobi and the Shoe, plus jack White which, well I’m thinking of doing a full length review but for now, it has too many weak spots. I still prefer Colbie any way.
Shinobi Ninja are such a family affair: D.A. and Baby G on one side, twin brothers guitarist Dave and drummer (in my opinion one of the most powerful drummers around Mike on the other, and Alien X and DJ Axis Powers in the middle: the three parts come together as more than a whole; everybody feeds off each other.
The week seems to belong to Miranda but I haven’t had the time to give the Ninja’s the listen they deserve. The other biggie for me is The Shoe, a quality duo who actually improvise their songs, and who have maybe thrree strong songs ontheir new album.
There was an App, Mike Machinest fed me the occasional demo, including a killer track “Rusty Stab”, videos have dropped, concerts have been played and of course, the awesome “Amped To 12” made an appearance in the Wayan Brothers movie “Scary Movie 2”.

Naturally, we jumped at the chance to rock. After a few hazy and partied out sessions, we sent the track over. Marlon & The producers loved it so much that they put it in the movie!!! TWICE!!! You can hear our new song “Amped To 12” in the party scene and in the end credits.
