The concert of celebration for the life and spirit of Joe Strummer has evolved from a tiny hand clap sized even to a roaring ocean. So many bands have jumped on board and some of the names are jaw dropping.
100%, yes 100 percent of the take goes directly to Strummerville charity. Strummerville is a registered charity that gives support to aspiring musicians and help to projects that help change the world through music.

Ray Gange?! That's Rude Boy! Apparently now a DJ, which is odd enough in itself. The August 17, 18, 19 event in the Somerset UK countryside is going to be a gathering of the spirits, so to speak. If you knew Joe (and even if you didn't) you're aware of his easy going and welcoming presence. This environment will capture the spirit of the man himself.
There are tons others performing and no doubt many more to 'drop in'. Should be an outstanding event-I'm jealous as hell of anyone who is attending.
