Is it a leak or is it a plant? Ron Wood ‘let it slip’ the Rolling Stones will be playing the opening ceremony for the 2012 Olympics in London. The odd thing is he may be performing with both of his bands.
"We've got more meetings, everyone wants to do it. I've been asked to do the opening ceremony with the Stones and close the games with The Faces,' he told British newspaper The Sun.
"I've got to be the first bi-athlete musician."
On the flipside a Stones representative stated 'The Rolling Stones wish to point out that they are not performing at any concerts tied to the 2012 Olympic Games,'
So who’s fibbin?
There are others rumored to be performing including Paul McCartney and Adele. Can you imagine Adele up there whining ? That’d be awesome!
