Springsteen At The Apollo

SiriusXM Radio is weird.  I really have no idea how they keep afloat in a streaming world.  Their life is limited though, I cant see why people would pay for satellite radio once wi-fi gets more common place.

But alive they are and dragging the corpse of Springsteen through Harlem.  That sounds horrible, yet amusing. Truth is The Boss will be playing the historic Apollo March 9th in celebration of his new album "Wrecking Ball"

It will air live on E Street Radio. Subscribers can win tickets to the event, which is part of SiriusXM’s 10th anniversary celebration. The announcement was made Wednesday by SiriusXM Radio.

If you recall Paul McCartney did the same thing last year- SiriusXM must have some sort of contractual agreement with the Apollo cuz they keep sending people there.

The Apollo fostered the careers of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson. It held memorial services for Michael Jackson and James Brown, and a 2007 campaign rally for Barack Obama.  And now the greasy old geez from Jersey is going to smear up the stage.
