I’m not certain who sang these so I had to check with my Dad. Every time I go out with my Dad in a fast car these are the songs he likes to play. I don’t know why he chose them, because they are hard rockers I guess, but I do like them: I like the tunes, the beat and I don’t singalong unless I’m being paid!
1. Get A Haircut – George Thorogood And The Destroyers .. and get a real job! wait, I do singalong to it. It is one of those Ray Charles songs, “Hit The Road Jack”, you can nod to the beat and t was the first real rock song that I listened to.
2. I Want You So Hard – Eagles Of Death Metal – Leave him alone because the boys bad news! It is very fast, loud guitars, drums, bass all metal bits and pieces, but you have to play it very loud or doesn’t really sound very good.
3. I Hate Myself For Loving You – Joan Jett And The Blackhearts – The first two were all boys but this is a girl. It has a real good tune and it is really hard to resist singing along.
4. Livin’ On A Prayer – Bon Jovi – It’s my favorite song of all time and my Mom’s favorite band as well. I love the bridge leading to the encore and everybody sings to the chorus,
