Time is always a valuable commodity but now it is an impossible commidy in the heart of a week with so much great music all around me that I don’t even know what to tell you. I can’t find the time to hear everything I want to, I do’t have enough ears to keep up with this week.
Here is what I am trying to listen to in heavy rotation while still getting less and less time.
1. Big Apple Blues – Tomas Doncker Band – The eagerly awaited follow-up Moanin’ At Midnight, and it is a seriously great album and a contender for album of the year. Out October 24th, 2014.
2. Angels N Devils – Dan Whitley – Still no release date but I can’t stop listening to it.
3. Setlists: Chromeo, Clean Bandits, Sam Smith and the Replacements are all vying for my attention as I redy for a ton of gigs in the next week.
4. New Releases: I wanna give Lera Lynn and Ryan Adams a much closer listen and am trying to find some time somewhere…
5. Not to mention the new U2: I found the complaints about it being sent to your accounts ridiculous but the album ain’t much either. I need to listen to it a few more times.
6. Plus another 18 albums released this week
and finally,
I’d like to give FKA twigs more of a listen.
But there is so little time…
