Sky Ferreira is strongly opinionated and I have noticed she has been surrounded by a series of scandals, I have noticed this; in the past, she has been arrested for drug possession, had a controversial artwork for her debut album, and has admitted being abused when she was a child, … with Sky it is always very heavy, and she likes to put herself on the spot. On Thursday, she has taken Facebook to defend her friend Terry Richardson. The infamous photographer has a reputation of being a pervert and a sex predator, nevertheless, the pop star refuses to think the allegations are true:
‘As someone who has worked very closely with Terry Richardson on many many many occasions since I was 17 years old I would like to say… from my OWN personal experience: I have never been forced or manipulated into anything. I made a music video with him and I have never felt uncomfortable with Terry & had 99 percent of the creative control. This was before I was ‘famous’.’
Sure, except that articles like this one or this one tell horrific and sordid things about his behavior. So, because she was safe with him, she says all these girls are lying? There are too many accusations to ignore them! She continued commenting about the recent video that Lady Gaga pulled out:
‘Allegations are one thing but completely blaming the director isn’t fair aka the Lady Gaga video. It doesn’t matter if you want to be a “role model” or not, it’s your responsibility to be AWARE of what you’re doing. When you’re making & selling pop music for 14 year olds that is just a straight up fact. I’m not against/doubting people that have said they’ve encountered things with him (it’s not my place to say so) but the media acting as if Terry Richardson manipulated Lady Gaga into making a video about getting touched by R-Kelly or whatever is a whole other thing. She is 28 year old woman & fully capable/aware of what she was doing. If she wants to do it is HER choice.’
I don’t follow her reasoning, I don’t think anybody was accusing Richardson to manipulate Lady Gaga, people had just a hard time to see a sex predator (actually two sex predators) in a cheesy soft porn video, that’s it. The problems are the accusations against Richardson, and very detailed, graphic ones, like the story told by 19-year-old Jamie Peck here: ‘Before I could say “whoa, whoa, whoa!” dude was wearing only his tattoos and waggling the biggest dick I’d ever seen dangerously close to my unclothed person (granted, I hadn’t seen very many yet). “Why don’t you take some pictures of me?” he asked. Um, sure.’ […] ‘I must have said something about finals, because he told me, “if you make me come, you get an A.” So I did! Pretty fast, I might add. All over my left hand. His assistant handed me a towel.’
Enough said and this is just one example! But Sky doesn’t care because ‘Terry has only been a supportive & caring friend to me for a long time,’ and apparently Sky doesn’t buy anything reported by ‘The media & the fucking peanut gallery/trolls on the internet’, which ‘can paint any picture they want of you’ and ‘never have the full details.’ I wonder whether Sky has the full details about her friend.
‘Basically if one more person has the nerve to ask/tell me that I’ve fucked Terry Richardson, I will slit their fucking throat. People fail to mention the 8,000 men he’s also shot,’ she adds (and if you want to read the full rant which is even longer, you can do it here).
She misses the point a few times, I don’t think anyone was dragging her and her work into this, and why does she brings up the subject of her naked tits cover into this? She defends Richardson and reacts as if she were attacked herself, and this is weird. I am gonna make a lot of enemies for that, but may be being around Michael Jackson when she was a child has deeply confused her judgment about sex predators.
