The Wrong Year – The Decemberists – I’m not a fan at all but this folker is very good, strings and all – B+

Gold – Imagine Dragon – How can someone who was never welcome out stay their welcome? And what’s with all the fucking whistling? – C-

It AIn’t You – Jordin Starks – Intensely irritating hip hop r&b – C

Madonna (And Other Mothers In The Hood (feat Nikki Jean) – The most political rapper in the world today with a very sweet voice from Minneapolis goes new r&b – B+

Deep Six – Marilyn Manson – Industrial electronic production but it pales next to “Third Day Of A Three Day Binge” – B

Happy – Marina And The Diamonds – Hey maybe Chris Martin was right not to speak with her when she opened for him – C

Lampshades On Fire – Modest Mouse – Quirky – B

Through The Dark – The Mowgli’s – All those voice, so annoying, it’s like listening to a commune – C+

Religious – Ne-Yo – The reason Ne-Yo isn’t the standard bearer for soul guys is because his material sucks – B-

Up Like Trump – Rae Sremmurd – Can the hook be any more annoying? – C+

Black Is The Color – Rhiannon Giddens – Sure, she has a nice voice, you’re right, this blues has a really great arrangement, wait for the break, but the song ain’t quite there – B
