set times for the FYF Fest September 3

The FYF Fest has posted the set times for September 3rd, and with 4 stages it’s gonna be difficult to jungle between Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael,… who got that funny idea for the names? But it’s possible to see Descendents, then Explosions in the Sky, then the end of Death from above 1979,… I will have to make my mind for the rest, but as usual there is no time to rest, it will be quite a busy day.
The festival will be held at its original location, the Los Angeles State Historic Park in downtown Los Angeles, so be prepared for dust and more dust like last year, and lots of bandana-covered faces,… or may be not?

The organizers have indeed promised some improvements compared to last year:
– More entrances into the park: I hope so, the line last year was so long it took an eternity to get in.
– All presale tickets have been mailed to the purchaser or printed at home.
– They have doubled the amount of food vendors: yes, the lines were crazy and people were starving!
– Water will be cheaper than last year and there will be more hydration stations and water fountains: that is the best improvement, I was thirsty all day and I paid $5 for a bottle of lucky warm water.
– They will be watering the dirt down with a water truck, and will be flattening the ground with a steamroller truck to compact the dirt to keep it down, then they will be laying down a thick layer of wood chips in the space near the stages and in the beer gardens: major improvement too!
– There will be more shade tents and misters all over the park.
– There will be double the amount of portable toilets than last year: good! I did not pee once last year though, well I did not drink either so it makes sense.

The FYF fest was a lot of fun despite all these problems, so it sounds it will be even more enjoyable this year.
