No, Sir, I am not a commie. I like money, I like lots of money, I wish I had more And while I don’t know why I pay as great a portion of my money in taxes as, say, Bill Gates, still, 30%ish in taxes, well, that’s life.
But what is scary is the difference between middle class and rich in 2014. Millionaires Schmillionaires, there are people worth a billion while you, the great unwashed middle class, are up to your eyeballs in debt. To put it simply, the US must have a middle class and it is losing it rapidly, if there is only 1% superrich and 99% struggling guess what will happen? Gwan, give it a shot.
Why am I telling you this?
Because Sarah Brightman is paying the Russians $40 Million to sing it outer space.
Why would anybody do that you ask?
Because they can would appear to be the obvious reply though the other answer might be becayse it seems like fun, well it depends on what $40 Million means to you. Let’s say Sarah ,the soprano who used to be married to Andrew Lloyd Webber, figures you can film it for a TV special, make an album, tour behind it, does she think she can make it back? I guess, maybe, I mean nothing in her life story gives you the impression she has those kinda numbers but still, maybe just possibly…?
Here is the story off contactmusic.com
“Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ex-wife Sarah Brightman has reportedly paid over $48 million (£30 million) in a bid to become the first star to perform in space.
“The opera singer will train on a Russian Soyuz capsule in the autumn (14) ahead of a trip to the International Space Station next year (15), according to The Guardian.
“Officials at Space Adventures, who offer up trips into space for non-astronauts, have confirmed the Phantom Of The Opera star’s involvement in the trip, revealing she will pay millions for a 10-day stay aboard the station.”
After the revolution, brothers…
